The Switch

Tonight I had a chance to try out using a switch with the camera. The results are definitely better, but I still need to play with the settings… These shots look awesome when they’re small (i.e. on a little LCD monitor on the camera), but when you see them in full size the definition just isn’t there. I think I need to crank my ISO up a bit more so I can capture more star before I get trails?

I did play with the star trails idea in one of them. I left the shutter open for 10 minutes, and even went and tried to stand super still in a couple spots on the deck, but I didn’t hold the poses long enough to be prominent. You can see me if you look carefully though :-).
